20071007 Sonic Youth (House of Blues, Dallas, TX)

Fuck a bunch of House of Blues

Cons:

• Tickets through Ticketmaster
• Want a ticket day of show at the box office? Thats an extra $5
• Parking isn't great. Pay $10 to venue, $5 for city lot, or find a meter. Of course you could always valet. At a music venue. Valet.
  
• Prepare to be swabbed with a metal detector on the way in
• $16 rum and coke
• Bouncers every 20 feet kicking people out

Pros:

• Decent sound
• Free admission. (No one was around to tear/scan my ticket)

It's gotta be something really special to get me back to the HOB. Maybe if the Nirvana original lineup reunites/reincarnates and opens for the reunited/reincarnated Velvet Underground.

The 1st 10 minutes are a little rough. I was looking for friends and walking around the venue. If you can get past that the sound clears up alot.
